Vote FOR Issue 10

Issue 10 is a 0.9 RENEWAL, NOT A NEW TAX

The Lake County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board levy is Issue 10. Please VOTE FOR it on November 5, 2024. Issue 10 is a RENEWAL levy that funds essential mental health and addiction recovery services, it is the same levy and amount approved by voters since 1976.

Issue 10 is NOT A NEW TAX. There has been NO INCREASE in millage since voters first approved it in 1976.

SIGNIFICANCE: More than 56% OF THE BUDGET comes from local support like Issue 10. It funds prevention education efforts, treatment and support services for seniors, and families struggling with mental illness and substance use disorders.

THE NEED: Statistically, 1 IN 4 ADULTS will experience a mental health disorder in a given year. Demand for services is increasing, and federal and state funding is shrinking. The passage of this levy will continue supporting essential services.
